Merge Tables Dialog

Creating a combined data table

Merge Tables

To access this dialog:

  • Using the Data ribbon, select the Objects | Combine command.

  • Run the command 'combine-data-objects'

If you wish to combine the contents of two data tables (for example, to merge interval log tables with different sampling intervals - Depth_From, Depth_To - and preserve all the fields and sampling intervals from both tables), use the Merge Tables facility available with this dialog.

New tables are created in memory, not as physical files. To create files on disk, you will need to save your project file. This will have the affect of prompting you to save in-memory files, and  to associate the resulting file data with your project.
